Is Code 64 a lean right bank?
This is on a 1990.

Looks to me like a bad O2 or bad ground on the O2, does that sound correct?

Code 64 is a Lean O2 sensor reading. What was happening when the code set? The ECM was seeing a too low O2 sensor reading for at least 2 sec.
I would change the O2 sensors anyway but wouldn't count on the fact that its a defective O2 sensor. |

My AutoXRay scanner sorted it out very quickly. You can get a bird's eye view of the cross counts and the range averages for both sides. It's available, if you want to use it. P. |
