Bought a blaster from Harbor freight, could not get it to work at first, then upon inspection I found gun used to deliver the media was messed up...drill it out, worked like a charm, stripped a injector housing down to bare aluminum for repaint or PC have not decided yet.
Anyone good for the 39.99 I paid for it, used Walnut Shell. http://www.harborfreight.com/portabl...kit-37025.html for a cabinet, I used I tupperware bin with a plastic sheet secured with a rubber band, worked well

Do you have a pic of your setup?
I was leaning towards a soda blaster.

I can take one......in no time you can be blowing more nuts than Ron Jeremy......actually if you used the nut shells if you move outside you might not have to worry about the cover...safety glasses, long gloves, and respirators are a must
Using sand without ventilation can also make you very sick

Harbor freight is good for tools you use a few times then throw it away. I did three top end port jobs and burned up two Harbor freight electric die grinders. And you can tell when they're getting ready to go because they get so hot you can't even hold on to them anymore. The good thing is they are only $39 and they replaced both of them free under warrenty. The bug zapper tennis racquets are pretty cool though. Wasps expload when you hit them with it. 1500 volts baby.

They must have fed them that day in china when they made yours.
Both my grinders did 3 Siamesed/plenums and 6 I/H housings and thats all I got out of those grinders. Last edited by rhipsher; 07-05-2011 at 03:57 PM. |
