I was wondering if any one experiances any detonation at high RPM. I use 94 sunnoco fuel. Around 6000-6500 rpm I hear the valves rattle?
Any thoughts? Also I heard a loud pop ( Metal snap sound) when backing up the otherday. Now periodicaly I hear a squeak or pounding while driving. I have pulled the wheel but it looks okay under there. I have also slid under my car and looked at u-joints etc & cannot find anything out of norm. any ideas |

Hello, and welcome to the forum.
I have never experienced the problems you described, so I cannot say for certain what you heard/ are hearing. Have you had your car tuned, or has it been a long time? |

I posted a link on your last post to help with the u-joints. What's the chance you have a heat shield making the rattling noise? Just a thought.
