I know that the head and cam cover are a matched set. Do they have numbers on them matching what cam cover goes with the head? If so where are they stamped?

yes they do on the back of the cam cover and head....right on the humps for the cams

Thanks lee, going to look at a project car next week with 2 motors just want to be sure they are correct.
