hi guys, so installed the nav/bluetooth headnit without trimming the bezel as i got the 6.1inch screen. My only question is does anyone else hroave white noise with the radio on. I was told it i bc you have 2 amp (headunit & amp on each speaker) and it causes distortion. ANyone else expeience this? Any solution to fet rid of the static/whitnoise?????
Can you bypass the stock amps to get rid of distortion Last edited by Johnny5; 11-07-2015 at 06:26 AM. |

You need an adapter if you are going to use the stock bose speakers and amps with an aftermarket head unit. I'm using the PAC OEM-1.

every double din radio is "slightly" different
so take yor time, insert radio and trim a little, as needed. some time you have to cut the back plastic wall behind the radio to achieve the proper depth. and the front factory bezel has to be filed a bit as well. take your time its easy |

Don't try to cut it. It's impossible to cut straight. Use masking tape to mark how much trimming you need and use a grounding wheel and file to grind it down. 90-91 car bezel don't need much trimming.
