I have seen this stuff at a few car shows, and on TV a few times. Everyone says it makes a huge difference in underhood temps. I have a set of stainless works headers that I am thinking about wrapping, to help reduce underhood temps. Since I won't have heatshields in place after my headers are put on. Thoughts? |

FWIW, My SW headers are NOT wrapped. I can't say that heat has ever been a problem tho...

I wrapped my OBX headers....I used the titanium wrap..Since it is a limited use car, I figured I would wrap them instead of jet coating them.....Jet coating can be a little pricey ...I have no issues...

I didn't jet coat or wrap my SW headers, and I drive it all over the place for hours at a time, I haven't felt hot and nothing under the hood is suffering from increased temps. I don't think its an issue, but thats just my .02
