Boy, it was GOOD to get out of the house yesterday - COVID be damned - and have lunch with Marc Haibeck and Bob Banks and get caught up a little bit.
Marc's shop was FULL of projects, as usual, including one especially fantastic, beautifully detailed car, overall, complete with an immaculate, stunningly adorned 427 LT5 nestled in the engine bay. (If the owner wants to divulge his name, he'll have to do that!) If possible, we should try to get the FBI together, if that is allowed yet. Summer's 2/3s over, for crying out loud! What say you?? |

Paul's right--it is always nice to get out these days. Don't think we infected Marc--or vice versa. I have lunch with him about once a month and Paul often joins us, sometimes Dom as well. We all just needed a little break. And we saw Phil Wasinger's immaculate car at Marc's shop. I truly think Phil sleeps under his car with a toothbrush and a rag. -Bob

I had the privilege of catching up with Marc a little Monday evening when we picked my car up (and dropped another off). Always love seeing and hearing about what Marc is working on. There are lots of truly incredible cars in this community, many of which we don't even hear about on this forum.

Jus' wonderin' is anyone in the "FBI" has a purple 95.
Everyone knows purple ZR1s are the fastest. A group of "fast boys" would need a purple one...if they were realy "fast". ![]()
