Windshield Washer Paddle Switch
94 ZR-1, with the ignition key on, pressing the washer paddle switch on the multifunction lever will not turn on the wipers or the washer pump. Now, if I turn on the wipers at any speed and then press the washer paddle, the pump turns on and the washers work just fine...looking for any ideas!

In the absence of response, if it were I, I would start with the most obvious and replace the wiper stalk. Perhaps used part from one of corvette salvage outfits.
