Well I pulled the plenum to swap some injectors, during the swap I noticed the pintle and spring where lying next to the IH. Appears the pintle came out of the IAC
![]() Sweet! My wife was with me, told me I could buy a car made out of gold with all of the money I spend on mine. I reminded her that it might be possible to swap her ring for a stroker motor ![]() LGAFF 92 ZR1 #234 Last edited by LGAFF; 09-13-2008 at 01:19 AM. |

Its hard for her to complain, she's got a Mercedes 500 CLK and guess who makes the payment....I'm driven a 97 taurus SHO as my daily driver.

Well then she is being a bit of a hypocrite abt the $$ on the Z no doubt --
My DD is a 97 v8 t-bird! Mama drives a 99 Grand Marquis. She no worky so she is lucky to have the smooth ride of the big Merc. I think all wife's like to crab abt hubby's toys. I get static on my boat-vette-sea-doo and my ham radio hobby --- but dare not I say a word abt her her clothing and shoe habit!!! LOL Last edited by WB9MCW; 09-14-2008 at 12:33 AM. |

I guess she is not going to like the short block I just bought. I will put it between the two sets of Dymags rims in the garage. I really needed it so I could store the extra set of ported heads I have.
Maybe she won't notice ![]() Hans or Don whats the max weight I can put in the trunk of the mercedes? LGAFF 92 ZR1 #234 Soon to be single |

Funny, how our wives always comment about the fact that we don't "need" any of this Vette stuff! But there's never any problem with the jewelry, shoes, clothes, cars and other stuff they have. I have to remind my wife of the same things. Should be a fun winter project building that engine. Let me know if you want any help. Hans |

Its amazing that every time she has been to the dealer she comes back with something new.....mercedes plate holders, key rings, floor mats, etc.
This will be fun, part of the reason I bought it was jus to learn how to work on the LT5. I cannot wait to get it. LGAFF 92 ZR1 #234 |
