Hi all,
I just picked up 1992 #043! Woohoo! I'm getting "up close and personal" with the car and already have a couple of questions. 1) The sticker on the ECM(?) pictured is completely faded out. Is there any way to get a duplicate sticker or a sticker remade? 1992 #043 In comparison, a pic of my 1991: 2) The plenum on my 1991 is noticeably brighter than the 1992. The 1992 has more of a gray tone. Which is "normal"? 1992: 1991:

Kinda looks to me that the '91 has been refinished at some time and the '92 is original.
The cam cover bolts in the '91 are much darker and don't show any rust where as the '92's does. As far as the sticker, a digital camer, photoshop and a lazer printer is your best bet. You can probably buy matching size, color, coating, sticky backed labels from a local print shop. Of course, the print shop could do the whole deal for you for probably only a small fee. TomC |

Is there some source for the information that goes on the sticker? Would it be the same as my 91? Thanks, John

Agree with Tom...the 92' is the correct color. I have never seen replacement stickers for the ECU.

I'm finding some other mods to the '91 -- it's 1" lower than the '92 and the gear ratio is noticeably higher. Maybe the plenum has been polished?

Yeah, I could get a sticker made, that makes sense -- but what to put on it? All those letters and codes must mean something

Hi jcruz from another Florida 91 ZR-1 owner. The ZR-1 Registry was able to help me with a similar decal issue and I'd like to pass the resource along to you. Check out the site http://www.ecsvin.com/index.php and see if you can find your ECU sticker on there. And, let me know if you ever find yourself driving through Jacksonville with your ZR-1.
