Default Dyno'd my 90 Today

I wanted to get a baseline on my car before doing anything further. The car to my knowledge is stock with the exception of a Flowmaster Cat back exhaust and a revised prom (prom was intended to fix idle and CAGS). Despite what the legend says - I am assured that the values are RWT and RWHP.

What could I expect with a good top end port (which is what I am thinking planning) - close to 400?

My 92 put down 399/357tq with top end, Watson 1 7/8" headers and Magnaflow cat back including resonator. We found later that the cams were out of phase Left/Right.

At the crank with headers Yes. To the rear it will be real close.

Those are excellent numbers for the mods you have. Mine dynoed at 342 RWHP when it was stock. With Jeal headerss, X-pipe, no cats, I got to 375 at the wheels. I'm sure a good port job would get you close. Good luck!

Thanks guys.

I guess I was a bit optimistic. Without headers (prefer to avoid the the additional noise) I'll probably end up closer to 385.

Will have to track down a good port & polish guru this winter.....

Surprisingly, the headers don't add noise. I was pleasantly pleased when I installed my Watsons. Interesting how close these numbers are across different top end ports ( did my own)and headers.
