I was at a Corvette show today in Los Altos and saw parked out in the parking lot a convertible with full ZR-1 body work. The car was purple. What tells me this had an LT5 was the Florida plate said CONAN.I went back to get a better look at the car but it was gone.Ive never heard of anyone mention this car,any info floating around on this one?

OK, here's the story on the ZR-1 Roadster at Corvette Spectacular. The owner's name is Gary Kramp. He is a long time member of Team ZR-1. He moved to the UK and took his red ZR-1 with him. Following an accident in the UK, he had a local shop convert his original ZR-1 into a roadster. He recently returned to the USA, and just moved back to the Bay Area. We will probably see more of this car at future events...................A huge thank you to Dave Wilson for the above info.Ill keep my ears open and the first chance I get Ill get some pictures.

CONAN was the name of the V12 Falconer conversion of the ZR-2......you can still get a V12 Falconer for a mere $65K

Does anyone have any closer pictures of the rear deck lid?
That car looks sweet, I dont think he could have chosen a better color. ![]() |
