it also sounds like a fairly generic response with no real thought put into it

No kidding. Could probably give the same response about any 20-year-old car right now, doesn't mean any of them are going to be particularly valuable.

So..... Not much in depth thoughts then ? Kind of a generic response.

Just my two cents......I am not knowledgeable about collector cars as to me anything that I like, if I had the cash, would be in my 'collection'. The only thing would be I'd devalue them because I'd be driving all of them, so I'd never be a collector in any real sense.
I do believe later on when car guys look around for an 'inflection' point in returning to legal big power in the post EPA era, our motors will be that point. If you argue the counter point to that you are not looking at the blue prints for any of the big power motors of today. GM's line up uses stuff borrowed from our motors, up and down the spectrum actually not just the hot rod motors. Ford took it to the extreme and sort of made copies of our motors. Okay, I never looked at the new Hemi series from MOPAR so I'll leave that out. JMHO ![]() I'm guilty of wanting to drive my Z as much as I have time to do so. I like nothing better than to get her on cruises that last for hours. To me that's the way I get to realize what a darn good GT car a ZR-1 really is. Thanks Dave, Tony, Graham, et al for my ZR-1! ![]() ![]() Tom
