Default LSx Coil Conversion

If only Lingenfelter would do the same for us. Take the 9 slot crank signal and convert it to 24 or 58x to run LS coils. Or even if we needed a crank wheel and then integrate to ECM bypassing the need for IM.

maybe there would be too much interpolation with rapid engine speed changes trying to have an accurate crank angle signal with 9x to 58x.

Mike,

U could do 9x - 24x instead. BTW, you can avoid the interpolation by using a crank trigger on the balancer instead bypassing the stock reluctor. Perhaps ATI would modify an LT-5 balancer with 24 grooves for timing.

The new Raptor ECM for the LT5 will have LSx CnP capabilities... I hope to have them by November.

Cheers,
Ron

Ron,

I'll be anxious to see the capabilities and the cost. Keep me posted.

The Mega Squirt guys say they can make it work with our CCM. They seem to think it's no big deal. I guess we'll know for sure by the end of Sep when testing begins.
