What about spare tire? tire plug kit wire cutters (for pulling out nail) 12v compressor (plug into cigarette lighter) fix a flat, just a squirt (may help plug seal) of course if you ripped a big hole in the tire you're screwed... AAA card, "don't leave home without it" (especially in a 20 year old car)
