Do you think a oil catch can would reduce the HC and CO on an emissions test.
My case in point is the following: 2 years ago I had emissions test done and HC was 1.7001 GPM, CO was 18.9279 GPM, CO2 was 553.2996 and NOx was 1,834.
I put 454 miles on the car in 2 years and added an oil catch can several months ago. Today I went to the same emissions station and same testing lane. Results were quite different in that HC went way down to .2808, CO went way down to 4.5949, CO2 went down to 529.3211 and NOx went down to 1.3352. Any thoughts on this from you folks?
