I see you have it resolved, but for what it is worth, here is the answer I received when I had a problem finding 262 in Hawaii. This is from Loctite Tech USA Industrial Dept:
Craig, Loctite 262 is approximately 40% less strength in both breakaway and prevailing strength than Loctite 271 on steel fasteners. The fixture time is a little longer with Loctite 271 vs 262, 10 minutes and 5 minutes respectively. The viscosity is lower with Loctite 271 than 262, 500 cps vs 1850cps. Other than that the temperature , gap filling and sizes of fasteners are about the same. Hope this has helped you. Take Care, Tom Kosloski
