One thing to remember is that the 84 was several hundred pounds lighter than the ZR-1. I think that would mitigate some of the stiffness of the springs. I'd hit my head on the roof a couple of times if I hit a dip at the right speed, but the Tokico shocks helped that out quite a bit. I liked how the Z51 "communicated" with the driver. And the handling was pretty good.
