Default Re: Shock bushings - Need help!

I hear you Pete! I just picked my parents up at the airport. They came in from West Palm Beach. My pops was saying how cold it was & that next year for Christmas that I & my sisters should fly to their place for Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all the Brothers Of The Beast!

Yun, I was thinking about the bushing r&r for the uppers and what I was going to do was install them, disconnect the harness for the actuators & remove same, put the shocks in w/ new bushings & go drive the car around to "compress" the bushings and then measure to see if I had the 5mm gap to see if they settled. The fronts are easy, but the rears will be some work. Sorry, I don't have a better idea!

What are your thoughts on this?
