Me taking the pic from the Clarion with the group....
I enjoyed the stay there, clean, right off the exit @ #242, easy on and off, and only 18 miles to Carlisle exit #224. Plus plenty of parking spaces. I would stay there again. correction just made on the exit and distance..... Thanks Marty for clarifying... 1486913620612.jpg Sent from my SM-G935P using ZR-1 Net Registry mobile app

After three years of not being able to make Carlisle due to conflicting overseas commitments, I am FINALLY able to commit to the event this year - one more for the Registry #s. I made hotel reservations some time ago, but I have yet to register for the event; I'll get on that this weekend. As for my ride, I may take the Z06, since I will be taking the ZR-1 to the Gathering in May; gotta try and equalize tire wear.
To my fellow Canucks, I am living in Michigan for the next four years at least, but I am maintaining my connection to home (Ontario), so count me in with the Canucks. It would be nice if we could caravan to Carlisle, but GTA folks are probably driving through Niagara-Buffalo or Prescott, right?

I just recently purchased my Z and this will be my first time going to Carlisle. How do I register for the event as a member of the registry? I can't figure it out online. I'm assuming I need to call for my tickets and let them know I am a member?

Dr.Jay, if I remember correctly, just sign up and pay for the "fun field", then look for the group. We are frequently the largest group and the last couple years, straight through the gate and we're at the bend in the road on the right.

Thanks I figured it out now! I was trying to purchase individual event tickets. Got my fun field pass and registered as a member of the club.

Very important when you register for the fun field that you indicate the ZR-1 Net Registry. That gets you included in our count and it helps the event staff know how big of a space to allocate to us.
Many register for the fun field but forget to note us and we end up with too few spaces. Sent from my iPhone using ZR-1 Net Registry

Dennis is right, no matter how many times we win largest club we never have enough room. If you register with another club, or no club at all, we can't count you toward the space we need. That's why we end up double parking cars down the center of the isle when no one else does.
