I want to replace the bleeder screws on my front calipers and I'm having trouble finding an exact replacement. What I've purchased from AutoZone and Corvette Central don't match -- the threads are longer for starters. Any problems using the ones from CC? Anywhere I can find originals?
Stuff like this should be simple but never is... ![]() Thanks, John ![]()

Cool. I'm not a stickler for "correct" but it has to work...

John
I am in the exact same situ. Bought replacements from NAPA on Monday - they look like the corvette central ones.I did see that Corvette Specialties (I belive) had them on their site -and they looked like an exact match to original Yeah - one of mine looks just like yours.... These appear to be the correct screws. I'll order a set and see if, in fact, they match the originals...

Corvette Specialties -CA-34165 84-99 Caliper Bleeder Valve
Appears to be the exact match if you want to go that way |

A word of advice....
Don't use the Raybestos screws. I picked up those to replace my OEM's which where a bit banged up. Well, I simply could not bleed the caliper effectively with these screws (using my hand vacuum pump). The holes in these screw are smaller than OEM. I either got no flow, or lots of air. The stock screws worked fine. |
