Default Cam Cover Bolts

Spotted these -

Anyone got any comments on these? They look a good deal on the surface, but I'm suspicious.

Maybe the right size, but doesn't look to be a Torx head.
Looks more like a Allen head.
And pardon my stupidity, but what is an A/N Washer?

That's why it looked wrong - they're not torx fasteners. I didn't know what the A/N washer was either but it could have been a different name for the dowty washers.

AN is a size standard. Air force-Navy I believe is where it originated from.

My opinion the washers are garbage as I have never seen one with a rubber seal on it.

Dave,

If you are thinking about bolts, get them from Jeff. I used his when I redid the engine. He has everything you need.............

Not really thinking about them, they're on the list but later. I just noticed these and thought they looked cheap - now I know why

Right now I'm trying to put the stuff together for the C5 brake swap. I have calipers from a guy upgrading his C5, I picked up some stainless lines here on the forum . I just need the adapters and rotors now.
