Yes you are right the car was black before. After getting the car from my brother inlaw few years ago i noticed that the paint was old and some of the clear was fading on the driver side so now a few years later its finally done.

Scott..yea Santa was good to me..but i had to pay for it hehe.

Yes i did see this car before ..it is georgeous bad. I have to admit after seeing this car a year back. It kind of gave me an idea of what paint color to go with. I decide to go with an 07 z06 atomic orange with a hint of perl in it. I love the Callaway kit on this car too..drool drool..

How did you determine where to mount the louvers?

I really like those

Must be the perl you added that makes it look more orange than mine.

Well you have to be precise. Determine where you want the louvers. Put the louvers on the hood and hold it down with masking tapes. From then on know the exact measurement on the louvers and cut the center out. Drill out and follow all the holes on the louvers and then rivets them on. That is it. I hope i was clear on that ...sorry i tried to explain my best.

Thanks, I guess I meant more as to the location you chose on the hood to put them

Also when you get a chance I would love to see the bottom side of the hood to see what it looks like with them mounted
