I was reading some of the other posts and I believe I have the dredded air bubble in the system. I drove her in 30 to 35 degree weather and I had little to no heat. Fans work , dampers move, engine temps appear to be OK, and the heater controls are not throwing codes as per the manual. I have faintly warm air when I first turn the system on but it quickly cools to ambient when moving. The inlet and outlet lines to the heater core feel hot.
How do I get the air out? I saw a reference to ZR1 Specialist sight but I can't seem to open the article. I have seen something in the past about jacking up the right side of the car when filling. Does anyone know if jacking the car up on the right side while running will clear the bubble on a filled system or do I need to do a drain and refill? |
