Jim,
This stuff was a close as I could find to OEM sealer, worked pretty well.

It was a pretty crappy day yesterday, weatherwise, how did the WMD go? I was too afraid to drive up there in case the weather turned worse. They were calling for possible hail/snow.

The weather was crappy. But, we accomplished a lot in a long day of wrench turning. I want to post an extreme thank you to Phil, Darrin, Yun, David, and Dennis for their invaluable help in accomplishing all of the jobs I wanted to get done.

We replaced all of the rear suspension bushings, replaced all U-joints, and ended up replacing the differential.

I will post some pics a little later.

What started out as a "simple" task to stop a very small leak from the differential, turned into a major replacement job. Upon disassembly, we discovered that the differential had been modified/replaced sometime in the past and that I had been running a 3.72:1 rear end ratio. In addition, the drive shaft connection to the differential had an old style, U-bolt to hold the U-joint so we had to replace the input shaft.

With Phil's expertise, David's spare differential and a couple of trips to the auto parts store, we were able to return everything to stock.

After a short test drive in the rain, I am very pleased with the results of all the work. The car runs and sounds better than it ever has.

Thanks again for all the help.

Jim

The collective talent and supplies of a group of ZR-1 owners is simply amazing. And I was lucky to have 5 of the best help me out.
