Jeff,
I've looked at the auah bin w both 8E and 8EA. The correct mask is EA. Would you send me your .xdfs and bin files for the 90? Which is the broadcast code for the $8E bin? |

I'm still not able to get download from the gearheads website. Says I need to verify but I never received the email for it..
Anyway, there are 3 things that show up in tunerpro rt that I was trying to clarify. adx, xdf, and bin. Is it possible to grab the tune from the z-industries chip I have? |

The bin is the binary file, the .xdf is the definition file, and the adx is the ALDL datastream ![]() Last edited by XfireZ51; 05-02-2015 at 01:14 PM. |

BIN - file stored in the MEMCAL.. gives your car a brain for the ECM XDF - definition file so you can make sense of the BIN ADX - used to capture data through your ALDL link. if you use android there is a nice datalogger ALDLDroid) works great with my 90 Z

I'll be using a laptop but do have a tablet as well..
Is there a program that helps to tune the tables available for obd1? I was looking at the flash n burn program and it asks for addressing. Not sure why I didn't get any instructions with this program. |

I was able to make the adapter to copy the z-industries chip. I used both 8e adx and 8e xdf to read and write the chip. I appreciate all of the help guys!

I suppose the ve tables. I've used a program before on obd2 that made calculations and adjustments while I drove. It was a breeze.
