Bosch Motorsport P50M. Expensive little buggers. They have no internal ignitors so have to be driven either direct (if the ecu is capable) or with some external power stage. In my case the ecu can drive them direct.

And forgot to mention, you have to buy the boot separately. Sent from my iPhone using ZR-1 Net Registry |

So in theory these would not work on an ls1 car right? I am using D514a coils in my experiment

custom plug wires finished and routed. you can also see parts of the motorsports-spec wire harness.
IMG_0784.jpg IMG_0785.jpg And I got the ECU powered up and running. Cam and crank patterns are detected and in sync. Whew! synclog.jpg I'll be cranking it up within a few days. |

I am pleased to report.... IT RUNS.
After initially having the cam sync 360 degrees out of phase, when fixed, it freakin' starts right up. I'm thrilled. New aftermarket ECU custom wiring harness sequential ignition coils from scratch calibration Sweet, sweet LT5 music barking out of the exhaust. I'll try to make a blog video tomorrow. The end of the beginning... now I have to optimize it. |
