No. I pulled it, Gunny. I was confused (something new!).

I'm in. With a co-pilot, Roger. We'll leave NH Saturday, hole up somewhere mid trip. I would REALLY like to hook up and caravan. WAZOO guys, I'll be heading through your territory if that works.
George, all my info is the same.

Roger Whitney
I'll bring a couple of radios.

Robert and I and company discussed holing up at London KY Saturday night. Then on Sunday, caravan to Gatlinburg (?) (exact destination TBA). However, the Wazoo group might prefer grouping somewhere else (along I-81?) Saturday night. Then, maybe those of us coming from the west could meet up w/ y'all and caravan to (Gatlinburg?).

Thoughts?

KY is a bit out of the way for me on the way to NC.
Paul, I'll do my best not to break down again. I still appreciate you and Jim giving up an entire day for me. The problem has never reoccured. Nor have I been in the rain like we had that morning. I blame it on the rain and something getting wet. -Steve

UPDATE !!!

MR4 hotel accommodations will be in Gatlinburg. Robert is completing the details and will be posting that info ASAP so that everyone can go ahead and make reservations, etc.

I will update the route maps in about a week (leaving for the mountains and won't have decent internet access). However, most of the routes from Gatlinburg will be very similar to the routes already proposed - just a different starting/ending place. Included will be the Dragon, Foothills Parkway, Cherohala Skyway, Smoky Mountain Loop, the best parts of Moonshiner 28, Highlands, waterfalls, scenic overlooks PLUS a couple of new roads that I will be looking at later this week.

It's gonna be GREAT ... if you've been on any of the previous mountain runs, you will drive some of your favorite roads PLUS have the opportunity to try out some new roads. And staying in Gatlinburg will be especially nice with an abundance of good restaurants, shops, and spectacular views.

Did a "quick & dirty" update of the proposed routes ... I posted some basic routes that we will be driving. More to come after I've checked out some new roads (as well as some of the old ones) later this week. Leaving for the mountains in about 6 hours ... may have to dodge a little snow & ice, but otherwise it should be good weather.

Click HERE and refresh your page if you see more than 4 maps.

Robert, do we need to wait until Friday for the link and code?

Reason for asking: I just called and they said no rooms available.

Thanks.
