What a great show. Many thanks to Doug Marshall and For Corvettes Only for all the hard work. I believe there were some 350 Corvettes there, including 17 ZR-1s! Dave Johnson is a Rock Star and has the "best of the best" trophy to prove it! I think Tom picked up some hardware as well.....rumor has it he traded the trophy for a slice of Mystic Pizza........

The members of "For Corvettes Only" and I would like to sincerely thank all you guys in the "brotherhood" for showing up at Vettes in the Village in Mystic! I hope you all had a good time, I know I did! It was great to see you all again! Having that many ZR-1s there was a real treat that wasn't missed by all the other attendees! We're still figuring things out, but we know for sure we had well over 300 Vettes there, the biggest one yet! Next year 400? I think Tom Tom had an anchovy and pineapple pizza from Mystic Pizza, hope he made it back to NY without having to stop a few times...
Thanks again,
Doug and "For Corvettes Only"

Hi John, Thanks for hosting the Northbound pit stop for the WAZOO crew from Maryland.

Thanks to Doug and the For Corvettes Only for putting on a very nice Corvette Show. It was well attended and all of the hard work by you guys to make it happen was obvious.

I counted 17 ZR-1's. They all looked great and thanks to Doug and David some of us were parked front and center at the entrance so were got a lot of attention.

We met three owners for the first time and encouraged them to check out the Forum and to join the Registry.

Here are some pictures that I took:

Yes, the boys from CT sure did roll out the red carpet for the Z Brothers! Thanks Doug, I think it's safe to say that you can count on some ZR-1's returning for next year's show!

Here is a link to some pictures that I shot. Enjoy!

Very nice pictures. Thanks for linking. Big John's Calloway ZR-1 next to Frank's 441 is a neat shot of some really fine machinery!

It was good to see you again. Congratulations on your Trophy, your car looked great.

Jim
