Default 63=64 and Head question

I was dissapointed when I tried match my plenum to the TB, I have a 63MM DRM TB, and noticed that they did not port match the intake, it was 60MM. So I opened up the intake to 63MM. Dominic came over today so before he got here I matched up TB to the intake and there was still a difference. After remeasuring the intake, I measured the TB again....difference is the TB is actually 64MM.

Also Dominic and I noticed that the head surface at the IH was machined right at the lip, just slightly. Is this from the factory, I would assume so.

They are slightly machine to eliminate any excess overlap creaed from bolting down the next piece. Same thing with the top of the injector housings, they are machined some.

I happened to bring my 63mm TB to Lee's place and it also measured 64mm. Hopefully, 2 more plenum runners and the TB opening finishes off my manifold/IH porting project. Next, its the cylinder head match.

Jeff and Pete would you like to share with the rest of the class? With these two minds, sounds like something is brewing!
