different yrs . like try a prom from my 90 to the wifes 92.? i just cant remember .man i am gettin old

Not exactly. 93-95 can use a common calibration (BMCB is the last OE issue). 90, 91, 92 are not interchangeable, and can't use the later (93+) calibrations...without a major code re-write.

Could we erase chip and re-burn with new Mask ID and cal? Are the chips themselves physically different?

dominic , what i wanted to do is use the second prom that has the tune corey did after my porting of the blk car . the callaway is ported heads and everything . but i here its not very aggresive .i need to get headers for it . but stk it made 372.84 rwhp and 353.66 tq. with corsa exhaust . i does have a secondary vac leak , hook up the mity vac and it takes 2 sec . to go to zero . so pulling the plenum this afternoon. we are going to test her out inn sac on wed night weather permitting. should be interesting. sorry i havent sent that prom yet .i just keep forgetting ,old age i guess and preggers wife doesnt help.

Brad,

If you send me the origianl chip and one of your spares, I could transfer the VE and SA tables over into the 92 Mask ID. Let me know.

if i understand right you could burn me another prom for the 92 from the 90 that corey made ? could you pm me your mailing address . i screwed up the other day trying to clear some old pms and poof they all went by by
