Re: Fender badge

Jeff,

Looking at the way the car sits now I like the small splash logo. The logo could maybe be a very small amount larger and just a bit up and back more but that is personal preference. I like...

Re: 2015 ZR-1 Road Trip to pick up my new (to me) 1995 Purple ZR-1

Jim, with what Gunny said DFW is a great place and if you are in FW and looking for great TX BBQ I highly recommend Angelos @ 2533 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107. Not to mention the beers...

Re: Fender badge

Grab one if it's no big deal.

I looked at polishing the AP calipers on our Z and opted for powder coating over polish for maintenance reasons. The "almost chrome" coating is very close to polish...

Re: ZR-1 / GS Gathering May 13 thru 16, 2015

Robert,

Lots of events all over that you can do this with your own car. With The Drivers Edge for example for just over 300 bucks you get two days, total of 8 sessions, with instruction....

Re: NCM Bricks

Lee,

I remember back in 2002 doing this for Doug Johnson at the NCM Gathering. I think its a great idea there was a nice brick unveiling, moment of silence, and good time of remembrance. We need...

Re: powdercoat top end

The original AP Calipers on our Z were polished and one of the PO’s had painted them red that combined with years of neglect and stains left them unpolishable. No matter how much polishing the...

Re: Powdercoat

Lee is correct. I did our LT5 in PC a few years ago; you will need to fully disassemble the TB to have it coated. It is not a big deal at all.

Re: Clutch :-(

I would not reuse the bolts. See "torque to yield" for me it's cheap insurance to just change the bolts.

Going back in my notes on the Z I installed ARP #230-7303 (had to order 3 packs), the...
