Re: No more painting Plenum and Cam Cover Letters

That sounds like a good idea. I wonder how difficult they would be to apply?
Happy New Year!

Re: Rear hatch weatherstripping

I've used 3M adhesive remover in the past, not on the vette though and it worked well.

Re: New Baby

Congratulations and hopefully you'll drive it some or what's the point in owning one. If you drive it sparingly you can still keep the mileage low and enjoy the car, they were meant to be driven.

Re: Need to get a ZR-1 from Maryland to Chicago

Maybe you could borrow or rent a trailer from someone local? I bought a new open trailer about 9 years ago with electric brakes, tandem axles for around $1,500. from a guy out of Missouri on ebay. I...

Re: carbon Fiber Roof Panel

Now that's more like it, I might be interested in that price. I think the top looked good on the white car IMHO. I have one that's the car color so I don't need another painted top, I think the...

Re: carbon Fiber Roof Panel

I have both tops right now, so I don't need a third. It's a good idea but not worth the price to me, it might look okay just cleared. I can't see it being much lighter than the acrylic top either.

Re: Possible Leak - Engine Smoking

I have the same issue and haven't resolved it yet. I removed the inner fender twice and still wasn't able to get to the stud sufficiently. I probably need better tools also. The egr hose or whatever...

Re: ZR-1 Value

I agree Lance, I think they'll be comparable to the C3 big blocks, even the small blocks are going for big money now. In hindsight I should have kept my 70 Bridgehampton blue small block coupe. I...

Re: Prices are going up 90 for 60,000

Hopefully a few years from now, we'll look back and say wow those cars were really affordable 10 years ago compared to now. I wish I would have kept mine, lol. I think it's just a matter of time, I...

Re: Front Inner wheel wells

That's great you found some NOS ones. I know what you mean about being picky about certain things. I guess that would bother me too just knowing it's there. Good luck with the car!

Re: Front Inner wheel wells

My 91 #202 are black, I haven't checked the # though. It really isn't very noticeable, you might just want to leave it unless you plan on having the car judged.

Re: Injectors

My car is a 91 with 27,000 miles on it. I was wondering the same thing, but it runs fine and it looks like the plenum was off at one point because the bolts have some wear marks on them. I'm assuming...

Re: Question about value of 92 ZR-1

I have a 91 Quasar Blue/Black ZR1 with 27K miles on it. I'm thinking about selling it reluctantly, maybe I should keep it. I had a 1970 Bridgehampton Blue Stingray coupe, 350/300hp, 4 speed, that I...

Re: Passenger side lower panel screws

Thank you,
That's a big help, at least I know what to look for. I know they sell complete interior screw kits, so I may go that route if those are included.

Passenger side lower panel screws

Hello,
I'm missing the bottom 2 screws that secure the lower passenger side panel on below the glove box. I noticed one has a metal tab nut and the other one's probably missing. Are these similar to...

Re: Exhaust Manifold Stud Oil Leak

Thanks, I guess I'll have to put another nut on the stud to lock the other one in place to remove the stud. If anyone has any tricks or suggestions in doing this I'd appreciate hearing them.

Re: Exhaust Manifold Stud Oil Leak

Thanks for the reply, I'll keep that in mind. My leak right now is on the passenger side, leaking from the exhaust manifold stud and the grommet on top possibly.

Re: Exhaust Manifold Stud Oil Leak

I looked at the passenger side manifold stud and there is oil residue on it and the manifold. How did you remove the check valve from the AIR tube and the stud? It's a tight fit getting a wrench in...
