Limey (curt white) was supposed to be having these reproduced. Not sure if he has them yet or not

No...that did not work out....he gave it a try

I am now thinking of a Billet Aluminum Dipstick Handle that can be locked to the normal LT5 Dipstick using an Allen Head Set Screw (replacing the often cracked stock Dipstick Handle). And on that Billet Aluminum Dipstick Handle for me.......AMSOIL 10W-40 etched in RED letters.

So....you take a Hammer (No Pun Intended John ) to the existing Plastic Dipstick Handle and install the Billet Handle that includes the little surround enclosure with maybe "O" ring seal that covers the Dipstick Tube.

Carter....are you listening??? Sign me up if you are listening. I need two Billet Aluminum Dipstick Handles with Allen Head Set Screw and etched in Red Letters (AMSOIL 10W-40)

I suggest a two piece Billet Aluminum Dipstick Handle.
1. One piece being rectangular Billet Aluminum about 2 x 1/2 x 3/4 deep inches with the Red Etching of your choice. This piece being threaded into a blind hole 3/8 inch coarse female thread.

2. The second piece a Billet Aluminum Cylinder about 1/2 inch diameter by 2 or three inches long having a male 3/8 inch coarse thread on one end that mates with the first piece. The other end of this second piece would have a recess (including internal "O" ring you can slip in the recess that mates with the existing Dip Stick Tube) and above that recess a slot that mates with the existing metal Dip Stick including a 1/8 nch diameter Allen Head Set Screw. This second piece would have the typical bend upward the of the existing stock Dipstick Design (this part may over complicate the design). This two piece design would allow you to align (rotate) the present steel dipstick which is alignment sensitive for ease of insertion into the Dip Stick Tube (rotating the first piece with respect to the second piece for best alignment)........Just to give you a clue.

That way you can install the first piece which is a simple design with the etching you like for Oil if you change Oil Brand or Oil Viscosity.

This would go PERFECT with my SS Dip stick Tube by George Braml

But.........On a related issue regarding NEW ITEMS Designed and Fabricated by Forum Members.

Oh......and my fuel line Billet Aluminum Bracket with Octane Etched in RED is functioning perfectly (the bracket that attaches to the Evaporator Housing).

See Item #4 of Eliminating TB Coolant and Air Induction, Added Oil Catch Can and Painting

Then there is the Billet Aluminum Belt Tensioner Pulley (See Item # 9B) Billet Aluminum Belt Tensioner Pulley

I'm trying to figure out where my pics are for that set up I made. I plan to reinstall it when I put my headers back on. I'll see what I can dig up on part number, etc.

Cliff,

If you want to go custom with Lokar, here is some info until I can find what I made from a universal Lokar part number:

Hello Craig,

I would suggest sending us your original Engine Dipstick, with the measurements. We may be able to make you a custom Engine Dipstick. Our Engine Dipsticks have a suggested retail of $69.95. There will be a $25.00 charge for making the custom Engine Dipstick. It may take up to 4-6 weeks to make your particular Engine Dipstick. I will be glad to assist you. Please contact me at 877-469-7440 ext 8901 if you decide to send in your original Engine Dipstick so I can ask you a few questions, and give you RGA #. If you have anymore questions, please let me know. I will be glad to assist you.

Thank you,

Eric T

Suppose to get with the tech and set the new parameters on the drive today but can't seem to get a call back from him. We had it arranged for today but you know how plans go. Just get a call from his partner and they are dealing with a customer and it's taking longer than expected. Meanwhile, I sit here on my thumb.
