Default 1993 Power key Indicator light.

I have a question about the power key (switch) indicator light. On my 93, when I first bought it the power key indicator light was weak and very dim, now it doesn't light up at all. The car still performs as it should and everything works as it should but the light doesn't light up. I have tried another switch and same thing. I have also replaced the LED green light and still nothing. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this or how to correct it? As I say the car functions properly but this darn indicator doesn't light up. The car has very low mileage and I would like everything to function and operate properly.. this has me a little confused.

Any ideas or help at all would be very much appreciated.

Are you running a after market chip with key always on? Id say the power module is bad but you state you have tried another module and the same condition presists. This one is odd.
