Default The latest info on ZR-1 ECMs

The info I had about this was incorrect. The correct P.N. is 161963993. The other correct P.N. is 16196394. Their new part numbers are 88999186 and 88999191 respectively. Sorry about the misinformation from yesterday.

Uly:

Great post, thanks for reminding me of all the fun I had last year with the bad injectors and bad ECM.

As an update, Girlfriend is running GREAT.
She's outside in a shady part of the parking lot today.

I eventually bought an updated PROM (not the high school kind, Keith you dirty old man...) from Marc Haibec and my cold start issue and occasional high idle problem are a thing of the past.

Yes, White Racing keeps one on eBay at all times.
You'll pay DEARLY for it though.
I know, I know... A guy's got to make a living, yadda, yadda, yadda,...
And I understand that GM has discontinued them and they are no longer available as "New"...
But that hardly explains or forgives a 200-300% markup in price.
Especially when you can buy a remaned unit directly from your local GM dealer. The only difference being the part number on the sticker on the outside.

Just my 0.02

Uly,
What part of your post was incorrect? I only scanned over it briefly, but it seemed reasonable.
