Question Simple Power Key Question

Were there 2 power keys supplied with the 1990 cars, or only 1?
I can't remember from 28 years ago.
Thanks Guys & Gals !!

tiegsd,
They are not specific to the individual cars, but year model makes a difference.
For a '90 you need GM part# 12505009. Code D. The "D" will be stamped on the key.
You will be suprised what these sell for. $$$$
I am not sure off the top of my head what the #'s are for the other years.
Is your car a '90? If not, post up again and someone will chime in or I will check it out for you.

Sorry. I looked at your post again and see you do have a '90.
There are some of these on the E-bay site, but you might post up here on the forum first. Sometimes you will get a better deal if anyone here has one to spare.
Good bunch of Guys & Gals.

If anyone does lose the Key(s), Haibeck Automotive has a chip for sale that programs to start up at full power. The chip does other things also and can be found on his website. I installed it last year to start it up at full power as I tended to forget to switch to full power.

Okay, thanks for the info. Don't really need it, just a nice to have (until I lose it of course!). Trying to get the little things for the car that were missing when i bought it (like press kit, window sticker, etc) to make it as complete a package as possible.

Did you put together (or find) a checklist of "little things" to work from? I'd like to do the same myself. Almost certainly a post in the archive with such a list ...
