Default Heater Core. Another fun project

1990 ZR-1, losing coolant, coolant smell inside cabin. Heater core had finally started leaking. This job is sooooooooo much fun. i would rather be pulling the engine out. Does not help that extra wiring has been added all over the place on this car.

Upper dash pad removed.

Mice/mouse problem? Underneath the passenger side of the dash.

That job is such a pain in the ***, but its even more so with all the extra wiring you have there!

whats the dash have like 12 bolts holding it in so you can access that black box that houses the heater core.

I guess those mice like the coolant!

I've got to redo some of the wiring that was done previously. I would like to redo some more as some wires were left as exposed with just solder.

Holy chit!

My 72's H/C was an easier job than this looks to be, and I thought that job was a royal PIA! I think I'll do without heat if mine ever starts leaking.
