More proof (not that we needed more) that some cars do very well generally at auctions, while others don't.
The ZR-1 seems to, more often than not, fare very poorly at auctions.
That may change, it may not, who knows?
HOWEVER, if you are looking to SELL a ZR-1 at this time, auctions have time and again proven that they are not the best place to get the highest price for a ZR-1.
All of the usual positives, i.e. low miles, low production, etc. seem to have very little impact on price.
So if you want to give it away take it to an auction.
But, if you want a real bargain, go buy one at an auction, and you might just score big-time.
Selling a ZR-1 requires time and effort to find the right buyer at the best possible price.

Actually the 91 with 1600 miles was a disaster I was thinking it was going to fetch top 7000 but at 21500 it was the sellers lucky day.

The red 95 was very clean 8500 miles had some minor paint work and I think the engine was warranted early in its life

the 95 was clean but not what I would consider fantastic. mileage was not posted anywhere. It looked like it only had a few thousand miles. I think it fetched more than it should in todays market.
