Where can I find the thread about all the tools you should carry with you. I know I saw it a couple weeks ago but can't locate it now.

Want to be prepared during MR4.

I am not sure what thread you are thinking about but there are several threads regarding tools. Some even carry spare parts such as an Alternator (I do not carry spare parts).

Where do I get a tow adapter and fuel pump jumper?
I have an origional Gordon Killebrew ALDL code analyzer. Although larger it's a must keep and carry.

I make the tow adapter and Jim invented (Daryll had assembled) the Fuel Pump Jumper. Daryll AKA GOLDCYLON.

Do not ask who.......you might be surprised :p

I do recommend TB Coolant Blocked to get back on track ;)

Anyone who really wants to be prepared for some fixing on the road should Block TB Coolant. I can remove a Plenum in less than 10 minutes on the road if I have to and I DO NOT torque the SS Plenum Bolts or put anything on the Plenum Gasket when replacing. There is only relatively light suction and no coolant pressure with TB Coolant blocked. I would say I snug up the SS Bolts with maybe half the torque specified probably around 10 ft-lbs (no torque wrench required).

Cliff, somewhere on this forum (as opposed to the other one) you posted up about what you carried and how you packed it. Like Paul said, with MR4 looming... even if he did use that big word that I don't know the meaning of.

Trouble is on the Registry it takes three posts for the same information :p
That is double or triple the work posting the same information. There is a reason for my madness :D
And......then the maintenance if the information changes or updated over time on two different web sites.

I just went back over the list, I noted that there is a tire plug kit noted (probably the roadside tool I have used the most in recent years), I did not see anything to inflate the tire. I do carry one of those 12V compressors, but they are bulky. Any other ideas for filling a flat tire once its repaired, fix a flat I do not think is kind to the TPMS, it would take about of those little 10 CO2 canisters me thinks, so that's a no-go.
