Re: Passed California SMOG test today
Congrats.
And good thing they didn't drop the requirements from last time too. Seems like they keep dropping the figures every time i go in for the test.

Since I put the wheels on I thought I would update this post for future reference. Below is a picture of the wheels I was asking about fitting on the car. They are the Ronal LZ-VT wheels. Fronts are...

Re: 18x12 rear wheels
Jep,
I have also measured a stock OEM wheel and realize that these wheels will be 1/2 inch inside compared to them. From what I have been getting in responses it seems a 8" backspace is fine. And...

Re: 18x12 rear wheels
So your wheel offset taking the 18mm spacers into the equation is 39mm. My wheels are 38mm offset so they should fit just fine. And yes they are also hub centric as well. Thanks for the info.

Re: 18x12 rear wheels
Coupe89,
Thanks for the pictures. It does look like the wheel is right there as close as you can go. But maybe 18" will help a little bit. But then the big issue is backspacing. Will just have to...

Re: 18x12 rear wheels
Coupe89,
Thanks. That is the information I have been searching for. I know the GS wheels are basically the same backspacing as these wheels except for size (18 instead of 17).

Re: Passed CA Emissions
Proof with good manifold/CATS that you can get good numbers. New manifold/CATS I bought off a guy that drove his car home new and took the manifolds off and put headers on. He said they had probably...

Looking for a power steering pump and hoses for a 90Z. Does anyone know where I can get these parts from. Local parts houses don't show a part for these.
Thanks.

Re: High Idle
No problem. From what i have read here lately, it seems people with the stock manifolds and cats have a better chance of getting them through. Most likely due to the cats being closer to the engine...

Not great news there. I would of thought throttle body cleaner would be safe. Odd though, after I blip the throttle it goes back down. So it sounds as if it is hanging up until I blip the throttle....
