Re: Minimum Air Idle Adjustment
Oh, nvm. I saw in the other post where you had been reading the ccm and ride control modules instead of the ECM codes. I recall the 95 has kind of a hybrid ALDL connector. OBD2 style, but the ECM...

Re: Minimum Air Idle Adjustment
I feel like I knew this at one time, but was this a model year change, regarding the ALDL pin combination for the IaC? If so, when did it change?

About Custom LT5 builds
I thought I would write a few words about the effort and time required to build a custom, large displacement LT5 engine. There are only a few guys building these, and some members have them in...

Re: What vaccum line is this?
that's the vacuum line from the pump to the SPT actuator solenoid. It almost looks like it's plugged? If the pump isn't running continuously, then it might be plugged down there too.

Re: Best sounding cams
Cool. Thanks for posting that. Those all seem to be 238-239 ish duration at .050. That seems reasonable, although generally on 4-valve engines the exhaust duration would be significantly less than...

Re: Best sounding cams
As was said before, there are three ways I know of to do cams on the LT5.
1) regrinding stock cams. Several guys go this route, especially on a stock displacement engine. In this type, the base...

Re: Best sounding cams
The lift figures look reasonable for welded cams. Those duration numbers, though, don't make sense. 275 degrees intake would have to be seat-to-seat (total) duration. Most people refer to the...

Re: Code 61 with secondary system removed?
I have confirmed the correct conversion for that variable, by referencing another GM document.
ADPTVAC (kpa) = N * (1/2.70045) + (-28.764/2.70045)
simplified to
ADPTVAC (kpa) = N * .37031 -...

I will post the relevant code section a little later. I have another GM document in hard copy form at home, which I can double check the conversion. Not with me at the moment though.
