To add a recent experience. Made an offer on some zr1 parts he had listed on ebay. He accepted the offer, but there was no payment method listed. I sent him two messages about sending a paypal invoice. One never came. He then filed an unpaid item claim against me. I asked two more times for a paypal invoice, which was never received. Ebay wasn't real interested, so I filed a claim against him for not receiving the item. Magically, the claim against me was dropped.

Never did receive an invoice, parts are still listed on ebay.

I'd be seriously curious as to what parts are actually left and who is managing things.

Yeah, it's pretty tempting when you see he (claims to) have a part you need, but (for me), there is zero reason to attempt to buy something from him. 99.9% chance of disappointment, delays, hassle ...

Unfortunately it's for a part I haven't seen elsewhere, the seals for the secondary throttle shafts.

It’s a shame really. He was a good source and supporter for a long time. I agree, I wonder what stock he has left.

I’ve got a friend that needed a rear inner wheel well liner. Nobody had it and White Racing Products did @$180 so my friend bid on it on eBay. Kurt White removed the item and jacked the price up to well over $250 and still tried to sell it. I did some digging and found the part for $78 shipped.

On Ebay if you search "see other items" for "whiteracingproductsllc_nos" you will find about 278,000 items (not sure how much is in stock)

True... but if you look closely the vast majority of those 278,000 are not ZR-1 items. He sells parts for other largely GM cars as well. Given the issues people have experienced it would appear his ZR-1 stock is questionable.

It's a little surprising that his ebay rating is 98.6%. There are only 13 negative feedbacks in the past year (I would have thought there'd be more), but they all sound like our experiences here.

"Never got item. Worst seller in my 12 years eBay experience. Ignores all my MSG"

Locate items from other commercial vendors (Lots and Lots of items).

List Lots and Lots of items (some ZR1 related).....say nearly 278,000 items.
When the item is bought....have the commercial vendor ship the item to the Ebay Buyer.
If you sell a very small portion of what you are listing at double the price
with NO storage, packaging, or handling costs....you make a ton of money

Now.....since you are selling other Commercial Vendors items at double the price, you have no way of knowing his inventory or shipping habits and from time to time will not be able to produce the Commercial Vendors item you sold on Ebay......so what.....you just go with the flow as the money keeps rolling in from the 278,000 items you are listing

Lets say you sell on Ebay 1% of the items each week (not each day folks) that would be 2,780 items each week at double the cost (you making bucks on shipping as well as the item) say you make $10 an item. That would be $27,800 each week times 52 would be a 1-1/2 million a year

Then you move out of the country so you do not have to pay taxes
You can do this trick from anywhere in the world as you do not have inventory, or place of business
Except we know, that with a certain amount of the obsolete parts he does sell, like the zr1 parts, what’s left is stocked in a warehouse in FL.

Yeah and the parts in that FL warehouse are not in a climate controlled environment. The first set of main bearings I purchased were full of rust. He made good and replaced them and requested the old ones back. Not sure why.
