I also feel that white/red combo corvettes don't bring the $$.

Before, I get bashed for saying that, one of my Corvettes is white/red.

Yes, but at the end of the day 33 is what the buyer had to cut a cheque (Canadian Spelling) for. Of course, to bad he didn't buy it for 27.5 which is what they seller would actually walk away with before any expenses he had. That is why I never understand why someone doesn't shop around privately to find that gem.

I agree and always wondered why guys don't calculate in the added expense of shipping the car to AZ. + hotel, food, wine, and hookers. He will probably walk away with 20k

So much for my rising tide theory...

Someone got a good deal (inspite of the B-J tribute), hope they drive it like Dave McLellan intended...

It's easy. It's more exciting and fun to them to go to bj. They may be on tv.
They tell the world, they bought it at bj.

Just a few reasons off the top of my head.

They come at a premium though. The car costs a considerable amount more money plus the buyer needs to ship the car back home so in most buyers cases that is another 1-2k dollars.

Much better to shop around. My car took a year to find but it was worth it.

I have been DVRing the auction on the Speed channel. It must be they do not broadcast the entire auction each day. I did not see the 91 go through.

406.1 '91 w/700 miles $33,000
620.1 '90 w/59k miles $16,500
