Sure would be interesting to have some of that technology trickle down to the community (dry sumps; radical intakes, etc).

I spoke with Jamie at Bonefied a year or so ago and he said they were going to use a 4 bolt block he picked up from John Sullivan (LGNDLT5 on here). Recall he had Bryant turn out a special 3" short stroke billit crankshaft ($$$$$) with 4.0" cylinder liners & pistons to get down to 5 liters displacement in order to meet the rules. Also adapted an aftermaket ignition system to work on the LT5.
Anyone know if the car had any luck setting a new speed record for class it was running?

the intake that i'd love to actually see...if it would be made properly....was the sheet metal intake that billy k had in bg in 06

No sucessful runs at Bonneville for the Bonefied Customs ZR-1; eletric water pump failed on the first run and lost a head gasket

Bringing this thread back from the way dead. Does anybody know where this engine is today? I'd like to contact them about it... I have a project in mind
