The 390 is the Car that Steve McQueen drove in "Bullet". Very Rare very limited numbers, That or a Shelby KR500. Can anyone barrow me a couple hundred thousand?

That's what's so strange. I often think why didnt they use the 428 Sci. It had way more hp. Because if you read about that car chase they said that the 440 RT charger would run off and leave the 390. The 390the had lots of torque but was stale on the drag strip. 428 was the king of the drag strip. And are even more rare than the shelbys.

Doesn't make any sense to me at all. Unfortunately, I work for a living so I probably will never be able to afford an Original 396 Roadster or a 428SCJ Fastback Mustang. But, I am realistic so I dont invest heavily in the lotto and I have no family that is going to leave me any kind of inheritance.

Im with you brother. My dream car is a 1967-68 GT500 shelby. Unfortunately that's never gonna be in my budget. So I just had to settle on a ZR-1. Its what I could afford at the time. Im pretty happy with my choice.
