55?

Heck, the speed limit here in Florida is 70 on the highway, and some people have been known to go a little over that as well.

I'm almost embarassed to say that I've only had it to 120mph. Scared the crap out of me. I couldn't believe how fast it got there. These cars are fully insane!! I'm sure someday there will be a nice long stretch of open road to test it out on, but until then. . . .

there are always Mustangs to play with

Default I'm even more embarassed...

I've only had mine to 90 & I was very surprised how quickly it got there. I haven't driven a vette in 20 yrs so I'm back to beginner status and my last vette was a 72. There is a good deal of difference between my new Z and my old LT-1. I have to learn all over again. I'm still having fun, albit at a slower rate of speed! Tom

"Only" 173 on the first day I owned it over ten years ago. Since then, 130-140 almost every weekend....yeeeeehaaah!

Seriously, the car is very stable at high speed. It just hunkers down and flies.

Does anyone still have the video of Rick Doria having a blowout on the front right tire in the Haus of Pizza car at about 230 mph? Talk about cajones!
