Default cigar lighter and oil change questions

Hi,
I just got a new Z last summer and drove it only a few times. The cigar lighter is not working and i checked the fuse box but cant seem to find the right fuse can anyone point me in the right direction and suggest any other possible problems with it. Also, i am about to bring the car out of winter storgae and i want to change the oil. I have heard many different numbers for how many quarts to use can anyone give me an exact number and type of oil and also anything else i should look out for when changing it. One last thing is there any other recommened maintenance at about the 70000 mile mark. I know this is alot but i would really appreciate the help. Thanks
Chris

If it were me who just bought an old car (and this is what I did when I bought mine) I'd change the oil, the coolant, the tranny fluid, and the diff fluid. Flushing the brake fluid and maybe the PS fluid isn't a bad idea either (haven't done the PS yet).

For the oil, it'll take ~9 quarts. I'd buy 10 just in case. 10w-30 is the recommended oil for the early cars, I believe for '93 it changed to 5w-30. The general consensus is that the change was for reasons other than engine protection (economy reasons, who knows) so 10w-30 is still probably the safe play for all years.

Oh, when pouring the new oil in, don't try to fill it up all at once. It takes a while for the oil to settle, so pour in maybe until it's at the bottom of the dipstick, then go do something else for a few hours. Come back and check it, and top it off as needed. You don't want to overfill it.

The cigar lighter fuse is under the center of the dash on my '92. When mine was blown my brake lights did not work either. I think I got to it from the passenger left kick panel.

Any guys running German Castrol 0w30. That was extremely popular in the F-body in which 10-30 or 5-30 is recommended (I can never remeber)

What is the general concensus on the best oil to run. Mobil 1? Royal Purple? Amsoil? Red Line?
