There is a company on ebay (PartsHighway) that sells struts made by StrongArm,. They sell the single long strut as well as the smaller struts used from 1984 to 1988. I read a post in the past where a ZR-1 owner just added one of the small struts in addition to the original longer single strut.

I purchased struts from this company in the past for the trunk of my Lexus. I was glad to find parts that were made in the USA.
