OBX's are about to see the heads here.
In the 'library' this AM, I saw wrap in Eckler's catalogue pimped with 'Coating Spray'. Anyone know ANYthing about this stuff? I thought at first it was some adhesive starter. THought about calling, but prefer opinions from anyone who's not necessarily selling... I'm guessing no one knows anything about it, but if wrong, that's fine with me here........................................... |

Can you even paint stainless steel? That's what the obx headers are made from. I had mine coated locally. I will post some pictures as mine are going on along with a top end port job which should be done in about a month.
![]() ![]() ![]() If you look at the second picture the egr tube is only about 1/3 coated as I plan on cutting it down some and capping it off before the install. There is a minor "rise" where the coating is. You can feel and see the difference. Last edited by Karl; 03-11-2014 at 10:17 PM. |
